"Fair price, but nothing special"
It works fine and I think the price is fair for what you get. That said, I was expecting just a little more for the money. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad buy, but it didn’t really impress me either.

Mine kept freezing up all night and the picture would just stop, which was really frustrating. If this one is anything to go by, I wouldn’t rely on these cameras for proper security. Not worth it for me.

"Decent service, but the pricing could be clearer"
Not gonna lie, the site was easy to use overall, and I was able to find the info I needed without too much messing around.
The main thing that bothered me was the pricing. Some parts were clear enough, but I still had to dig a bit and ask questions before I really understood what I’d be paying. It would be much better if all the costs and any extra fees were shown upfront.

Overall, not a bad company, just not quite as straightforward as I expected. I’d give it 3 stars for now.

Tech support got me sorted out in what felt like maybe a few minutes. The setup was easier than I expected, and they were helpful without making it complicated.

"Really poor communication"
I tried reaching out a few different times for an update and barely got any proper response. When they did reply, it was really brief and didn’t actually clear anything up, which just left me feeling more frustrated. I felt like I was the one constantly chasing them, and that doesn’t feel great when all you want is a straightforward answer. Based on how stressful the communication was, I wouldn’t use them again

My alarm keeps going offline and the app drops connection often. I contacted support, but they weren’t really able to help. Maybe I just had a bad experience, but based on this one setup, it doesn’t give me much confidence in the system overall.

The maintenance visit wasn’t great, honestly. It was hard to get a clear time for when someone would come, and when they did show up, the whole thing felt rushed. The issue still wasn’t properly sorted, so I ended up having to chase them afterward. Not saying it’s a scam, but for a paid maintenance service, I expected a lot better.

"Expected a more professional visit"
I was expecting a much better experience, especially since you’re letting someone into your home and you want to feel comfortable with them being there. The engineer didn’t really come across as very professional, and the whole visit left me with a poor impression.
It felt like everything was a bit rushed, and I didn’t feel like I was properly listened to when I had concerns. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I did think the customer service would be better than this.

As a homeowner, I found it really stressful waiting so long for someone to come out, especially with it being an alarm issue. I didn’t get many updates either, so I was just left wondering what was going on. Not the kind of service you want when you need help quickly.

I tried to book an appointment, but the times kept changing on me. I had to follow up more than once and still never really got a clear slot, at least not that I could rely on. It was frustrating, especially after taking time off work for basically nothing.

"App’s kind of a hassle"
The alarm itself works fine, but the app is just a bit clunky. Sometimes it takes forever to load, and I keep getting signed out for no reason. It’s not terrible or anything, there’s just something about it that makes it annoying to use every day

"Just didn’t meet my trust standard"
I spent a bit of time looking through linkdalarms.co.uk, but it didn’t really hit the level of trust I personally look for before using a site. A few things felt unclear, and I couldn’t find enough solid information to feel comfortable. It might be completely fine for other people, but for me, I need things to feel a bit more transparent. In the end, I decided to leave it and look elsewhere.

I had an alarm fitted, the aftercare just wasn’t good enough. Once I’d paid, it felt like nobody was that bothered anymore. Replies were slow, I had to keep chasing, and getting any help was a hassle. I kept thinking, how is this okay when you’ve just paid for a service? Sadly, I wouldn’t use them again.

"Alarm fault sorted eventually"
It took a bit longer than I expected, but to be fair I wasn’t always easy to pin down with work and other stuff going on. In the end, the alarm fault was fixed and everything seems fine now.

"Alarm never quite felt dependable"
I really wanted this alarm to work out, but for me it just wasn’t consistent. There were a bunch of times when alerts showed up late, and other times it seemed like it worked only when it felt like it. For something that’s supposed to help with security, that kind of hit-or-miss feeling isn’t great. I kept expecting it to be more like... well, just something I could actually count on. In the end, I didn’t really trust it.
